About the club
Established in 1960 and relaunched in 2024, Chard Motor Club is a riders' club running Classic, Twinshock and Evo motocross in the South West.
Chard Motor Club was founded in 1960. After a spell lying dormant, it was brought back to life in April 2024 by a group of riders who wanted a club run for riders: good value, safe, and giving people the chance to race their machines a few more weekends each season.
We run under the AMCA banner, with meetings for Classics, Twinshocks and Evos, and we're one of the founding clubs of the Southwest AMCA Classic Championship.
We know riders come in all types, ages and abilities, so we try to make every meeting as accessible and enjoyable for the novice as for the expert. Tracks are inspected before every meeting to make sure they're safe and suit the era of the bikes.
Committee
The club is run by a volunteer committee. You'll find their details on the contact page.
